The Joe FranklinS performed a loose but Rocking set to a very appreciative crowd at the Three Jolly Pigeons. We tried our hand at the old Sub Basement Blues Band number "Going To Meet The Man" for the first time in 25 years and Jazelyn (of Sweethook) joined us for our cover of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy". Joe from the band that played before us plugged in and joined us for "American Crank" (uninvited but spirited) and the crowd became so spirited that we were asked to encore which we did with an impromptu jam on the Blues standard "Key To The Highway". Sweethook - Santos Party House 1/29/10 New York City

We performed to a nice crowd at Santos Party House in Chinatown and since they were out of the Summer Ale I had a few Stouts on the house as they treat their bands right, an attentive sound crew was on hand and we got through our 45 minute set without a hitch. Of course They did.

It was my first live outing with the band with only a few rehearsals ahead of time and they've got me doing Drum solos!!! Thanks to the talented Matt Shanley on Percussion for backing me up and filling it out. Its wise for any drummer to wear as many musical hats as they can and I thoroughly enjoy the challenge called Sweethook. Swell guys and gal too.

Who Shot Rock & Roll - Brooklyn Museum 1/29/10 Brooklyn, New York

The Brooklyn museum located in, You guessed it Brooklyn played host to a fine exhibit of Iconic photographs spanning the first fifty-five years of Rock & Roll. There were even some surprises as the Nice and 10CC were honored on the Hipgnosis wall. Photographing the photos was prohibited but ya gotta try dont you.

They say third times a charm and in our case it was, aside from B.B. King's gracious sound technicians and charming wait staff (not to mention performing at the historical venue B.B. Kings Blues Club has become) we were also presented with a Band Menu along with the industry standard complimentary cold cut tray and fruit basket so they also fed us kitchen food this time, and Delicious it was.

An energetic fun loving crowd makes all the difference in the world to any performing unit and we had a sizable one out on the dance floor twisting and frugging to an 100% uptempo high energy set of Thirty 80s classics. Billie Jean and Spiccoli rose to the occasion and kept the crowd wanting more while the band held down the fort.

I went with a couple of friends to pay one last visit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Annex on the very last day of operations and decided to attempt to snap a pic(k) of Beck-O's Stratocaster of which I was successful. Sad to see you guys go but thanks for the ride just the same.

Thank You to Joe & Jenny for inviting me to my first ever 7 Fishes/12 Bells Italian Christmas Evening, I even learned what the 7 sacraments were, (Dont ask,... its a secret). Mind you this was no religious party (No Offense to the faithful) but there certainly was no shortage of Food and faces I have known for years. It Must Be Christmas, Lets Eat.

My First Concert EVER. RUSH December 21st 1981. Boy was I Impressed.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries 11/28/09 Brooklyn, New York

Basically this is how it goes, You will be hard pressed to find a Burger or Fries better than Five Guys. I chose a Bacon Cheeseburger with Tomato and Mayo on this Occassion. The French Fries are served in a heaping portion (1 regular order was enough for four of us) and they have the nouvelle approach of taking a Fresh Potato and Frying it, WHAT A CONCEPT.
The quality of Beef simply cannot be beat as well.

White Wedding Quartet - The Call Box 11/14/09 Brooklyn, New York

The White Wedding Quartet performed two sets at our home base the Call Box Lounge in Loverly Williamsburg, Brooklyn . Darling Nikki and Spiccoli were sorely missed but had previous engagements and what with this being a low-profile gig we went for it with Vim, Vigor and quite a bit of glee. A No Pressure Zone as it were.



The evening started with a Delicious Philly Cheese Steak Hero, I was apprehensive upon watching them Grill my Sandwich and only using two Slices of Cheese but it was totally fine & Cheesy.
